Enemy

The girl was simple, happy and humble. Been through many ups and downs in life, she understood well that nothing lasts forever. Good traits or bad, good days or bad, good friends or enemies they all come with their expiry date. And she was her own supporter at any given day.

She moved many places during course of life, making acquaintance and observing various human traits. Learning, unlearning and evolving, not stopping over minor hiccups. No experience was minor, no heart break was big, as she knew well that, to grow one needs to break.

“Nothing lasts forever” was not the only song, “this too shall pass”, use to make her dance. While she was taking forward leaps, alas came the painful kick on her sheen. The souls she never doubted, gave her brutal wounds, so deep the hurt, that would take years to heal. Questioning her integrity they rejoiced her fall, what they did not know was Phoenix rises from every fall.

In those dark days too, she thanked thy God, for she was grateful that enemies were outsiders and not her own thoughts. You defeat or curse outsiders, those who have done you harm, how you defeat your own doubts guiding you towards bad karma !!

Preaching and acting pious is not always enough, there is one entity higher above. Earning the name while maligning others, may your conscience be in conflict forever. Treachery and lies may be yours to keep, was empty when I started, now have humility.

Never let any tumble be your greatest fall, as enemies in your brain are worst of them all.
